It is with great pleasure I am finally having a chance to share these lovely images of fellow photographers Laura and Dave of
Blissed Photography. They are definitely one of the couples in life that are incredibly inspiring to be around and we were super flattered that they asked us to take some fun images of them for their website.
We started the shoot by hitting the pavement in our Fremont neighborhood and then drove to Golden Gardens for that gorgeous sunset light that the beach is named for. While Laura was doing a quick change, Dave gestured us toward him and with a sneaky look in his eyes pulled a pretty velvet pouch out of his pocket. Then he showed us
the ring inside of it! Right on, we were totally up for capturing his surprise engagement proposal!
A little side note here: yes, I LOVE surprises – especially ones that I get to be a part of it – but I seriously have THE WORST poker face in the world (ask any one of my friends) and was panicking that Laura would read me knowing something was up.
Luckily Laura didn’t catch on (whew!), and Dave caught the most perfect romantic moment of the day to get on his knees in the sweet yellow grass and ask lovely Laura to be his forever.
She said “YES!”
