We are so incredibly happy that we all decided to capture the spirit of Seattle and the Pacific Northwest in your romantic couple shots by going down to Olympic Sculpture Park to take advantage of the gorgeous light that day!

One of my favorite things I adored about your day is how you showed yourself, Noah, as Kari's "Night In Shining Armor" the morning of your wedding.
For those who were not at their wedding, Kari's shoes had been expedited from Los Angeles and never showed up the day of their wedding. They found this out while Kari was getting her hair and makeup done at Gene Juarez downtown Seattle that morning. So Noah ends up running with his arms full of gorgeous shoes from Nordstrom Downtown Seattle to and from Gene Juarez until they find the most perfect pair of Glint shoes to match her wedding gown. Seriously, it was like the shoes were MADE to match her Melissa Sweet Bridal Dress from Montclair Bridal in Santa Monica, CA.
LOVE the details we captured of the shoes at the The Fairmont Olympic Hotel.

Oil paintings have been obsession of mine since I was a kid. I am proud to own original oil-works by my mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and late-uncle who have all heavily influenced my style of photography and art work.
Lately, I have been selecting specific clients whose images have an obvious timeless quality look and feel to them. I then incorporate my own "special recipe" of Photoshop custom work to achieve an oil-painting-look to the images.
Your family portraits, Noah and Kari, taken in one of the timeless wings of the Women's University Club turned out to be totally amazing with this feel and look. I hope you love it as much as I do!

More oil-painting-inspired romantic portraits...
(p.s. I'm INSANELY CRAZY over the full-length portrait of Kari with the sun shining through the trees!)

It was such an honor to not only witness, but capture, the first wedding to take place in the newly remodeled ballroom at the Women's University Club.

We LOVE the symbolism of breaking bread and sharing wine together to honor the special moments in ones' lives...
